I had to leave London because my visa ran out so I decided to ride along the Danube from its (somewhat contested) source in Donaueschingen to the Danube Delta on the coast of Romania. I had been intending to go from London to Prague but my grasp of geography is not very good. When my initial research revealed that the Danube and Prague were not compatible the Danube won out.
I bought a bike and some camping gear on eBay and set off.
