- I travelled around 3000 kilometres without getting a flat tyre. I was pretty lucky because I only had a really small pump and I was never sure that it actually worked.
- Most of the men that I met on my journey asked me why I didn’t have a cycle computer. Most of the women I met asked me why I was travelling on my own. I’m not sure if this is a significant observation or not.
